On September 11th, 2000, Nancy introduced the first annual Nancy Kerrigan Pro-Celebrity Golf Classic presented by AquaTrend, Stoneham Bank and Champions On Ice. The event was held in honor of her mother, Brenda. All proceeds will be donated to various charities for the blind including The Lions Club and Descriptive Video Services, a division of WGBH. Joining Nancy was more than 10 current or former LPGA stars including, Jane Blalock, Sally Little, Hollis Stacey and Jan Stephenson.
A dinner was held at the Sheraton Ferncroft on September 10th at 7:00 pm including a silent and live auction. Auction items included were signed Muhammed Ali boxing gloves, signed Nancy Kerrigan figure skates, tickets to the World Championships in Boston, a signed Bobby Orr photo and more.
On August 19th and 20th, 2001 the Second Annual Nancy Kerrigan Pro-Celebrity Golf Classic and Charity dinner were held. Reliving the same fun and togetherness as the year before. This year the Tournament was part of the LPGA Senior Tour.
